FANTASTIC FRYE BOOTS
These boots are absolutely awesome! The quality is, well they’re Frye boots so the name really speaks for itself. They are so comfortable with super smooth, soft, supple leather. Most boots have that kind of stack heel which when you are wearing them all day is not very comfortable. These boots have the perfect heel even if your on your feet all day like me. I have big calves and was worried that these boots would be to snug or not fit at all in this area (which is usually the case with boots for me). These were perfect though. Size runs VERY TRUE so don’t go up or down even a half size or these won’t fit. Don’t let the price of these dissuade you from buying them. They are very well worth the price if you have the money.

softer then I thought
I was pleasantly surprised by how soft the leather was. I was hesitant to purchase a Frye boot because they always seemed so “ridgid”. They are a little roomier than I expected which is a good thing. There seems to be alittle lump on the footbed which Im hoping will smooth out with wear, because I love them and have no intention of returning them!

price great, boots, not so much
I was so excited to find frye boots at such a great price. However, I was a bit disappointing when they finally arrived. The calves run very small. I could barely get them on with skinny jeans. Also, I ordered them in black and the piping is much more gold looking in person. Finally, even though I tried on another pair on frye boots and was a 7.5, these seemed to run a little big. Small in the calve, bunched up at the ankle, and big in the feet. Unfortunately I will have to return them.

Beautiful boots that need a lot of breaking in
These are gorgeous boots that fit my foot perfectly, however, they definitely run small in the calves… it’s difficult to wear wintry socks with them, or tuck jeans in them. But, with some more breaking in, I know they’ll fit me perfectly.

Customer Reviews

Awesome boots
These are great boots. Sturdy and slightly clunky, but without being too casual or manly. The toe is rounded, but not as blunt as the Campus boots, making these more versatile and classic. The heel height is manageable, even if you walk a lot. Be prepared for a long-ish break-in period as these boots are made of thick, real leather, including the soles. A little slippage in the heel area is a good thing. It’ll go away once you’ve broken these in. I found these boots to be true to size. I initially ordered them a half-size smaller after reading a number of reviews here and elsewhere, but found them to be WAY too tight and nearly impossible to put on. Definitely go with your normal shoe size unless you happen to have very narrow feet and thin calves (I have normal width feet and athletic calves). I might have to get the shaft stretched a little so that I can tuck jeans into these, but otherwise I’m very happy with my purchase. I can tell right away that I’ll be wearing these for years.

great boots!
well worth it- but the heel is definitely high. i thought it would be 2 and a quarter but its more like 2 and a half. beautiful leather and quality.

EXCELLENT PRODUCT
Frye makes a wonderful womens boot, high quality and great style and this boot is no exception. Too bad they can’t do the same for their mens line of boots
